Organized by the Chinese Academy of Science, some members at ICBPC Centre are involved with a huge project of the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research Program (STEP). The ICBPC Centre is responsible for conservation of Rhinopithecus bieti and sustainable development in Mt. Yunling, as well as the biodiversitys in the Three Parallell Rivers. We will pay more attention to the changes in their conservation status, distribution, and assessing the effectiveness of the conservation regions.
